2004

Baseball on Mother's Day at Angel stadium: green grass, the smell of popcorn, the feel of peanuts in your hands, the sound of the play by play on the radio, the immediate feedback of the crowd are the signals that baseball is in the air.  A wonderful day with my family at the ball park.

Our seats (a gift from Ed's sister Georgia) we right behind the first base dugout (in the sun).  Mary was too hot so we asked the usher to be seated in the shade.  No problem, but we ended up near the foul pole -- we had a terrific time.  We saw a couple of home runs, which was great for the kids because they set off fire works afterwards.
